VALLEY FESTIVAL SINGERS
The Valley Festival Singers needed not only to update their look, but also to have a website that they could update themselves. They design their own handbills with a different look for each concert, so we created a site with rich royal colours but coded the header so they could simply upload a different header for each new event. This keeps the site fresh and new, while giving them the ability and control to match all of their promotional materials themselves.

SHIRAZ HOLDINGS
Another referral from our great friends at the Harris Johnson Team, Shiraz Holdings needed a simple one page website and photography work to get their brand online. This site is basically an online brochure that tells about their company, provides some stunning examples of their work, as well as a way to contact them online. This is a perfect starting point for many more projects to come!

NATIONAL ABORIGINAL ENERGY AND POWER ASSOCIATION
This is another project brought to us by Bob Joseph of Indigenous Corporate Training. His team needed a website to advertise the annual conference and wanted a simple, clean site run through Wordpress so they could update information themselves. I designed the website around the banner images and logo I was given.

RICHMOND FOOD SECURITY
Previously run through the Richmond Poverty Response Committee, RFS recently sought to become an independant society and as such needed their own website. They returned to Blue Pixel Design for a solution. We were presented with brochures and told to give the site an informal, easy going feel. What resulted was a site that is bright, bold and completely original.

WHITE MAPLE PHOTOGRAPHY
The father and daughter team of White Maple Photography create stunning photographs, but their old site just wasn't showcasing their talent. We created a dynamic website, again run through Wordpress, that they can not only update themselves but also use to show off their latest projects. The site features full size slide shows and photo albums which are run through jQuery rather than Flash which means that those browsing on the new smart phones can actually see and appreciate them too. There is also a password protected client section where clients can view the proofs from their photo shoot.

THE BRIDGE
We designed this site earlier for a repeat client. He asked for something edgy and artistic and I think we managed to achieve this while keeping the site useful for the large church family it services. We recently over-hauled the site to run it through Wordpress. This gives the church an enormous amount of control over their website and really makes it a tool they can use to keep their members up to date with the news and happenings of the church.

INDIGENOUS CORPORATE TRAINING
There is a need for experts who can help individuals and organizations to work effectively with Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Corporate Training fills that need. They offer everything from in-person seminars to online courses to books. They also had at least three websites they couldn't keep updated on their own. We used Wordpress as a CMS (Content Management System) to incorporate these sites into one new, fresh and dynamic site that they can now update on their own from behind.

GROUNDHOUND CONSULTING LTD
This was a quick indentity design for up and coming ground disturbance company, GroundHound Consulting Ltd. They asked for business cards with an image of their redbone coonhound on there somehow. We ended up designing this striking logo, carried it over to their business cards, and then reflected that on to a simple "business card" style website layout that they can expand into a full website at any time. The logo is in vector format, which means that it can be resized to any project (truck decals, letterhead, etc.) without losing image quality.

HOUSING THE NORTH SHORE
Housing the North Shore is an interactive community forum about affordable housing choices and socially sustainable solutions for the North Shore. Blue Pixel Design created a fresh new website for their group that would serve that interactive community for their upcoming forum and for years beyond. It works through Wordpress to provide a site the group can update themselves, add upcoming events to, and post news and information to while keeping a close link to the community they're helping.

ANMORE WOODS
Blue Pixel Design has been working with the Harris Johnson Team for years. This new website showcases the latest luxury housing development in Anmore, British Columbia. The site features custom photography, interactive maps with pop-ups of local areas, watercolour rendering of the proposed neighbourhood, links to local services and music from local Port Coquitlam artist, Kwong.

DAVID JOHN HENSMAN
The release of this site comes at the same time as Dave's second album release. It reflects the style of the CD cover and showcases all aspects of his ministry. This site is run as a Content Management System through Wordpress which means Dave can update his pages, blog posts and gig schedule all from behind without having to know any code.

A TASTE OF HOME
We've been updating Sandy Castiglia's baking site for several years, but with the opening of her exciting new cafe in Abbotsford, BC she needed a new, more professional look for her website. Included in the crisp, cohesive new site is a weekly menu which updates on several pages and a lunch menu to send orders to the cafe.

SPYDER-CAN
There are some jobs an ordinary excavator just can't do, this is where Spyder-Can's spyder excavators come in. They can climb steep cliffs, dig in narrow spaces, drive through deep water, and lots more! Spyder-Can asked for bright colours to match the machines and we used photos throughout to show off their talents and abilities.

RICHMOND POVERTY RESPONSE COMMITTEE
The RPRC is working to reduce the impacts of poverty in their community. The design for the website was based on their existing logo and group colours. Tons of extras make for an incredibly useful and up-to-date site.

ICM CANADA
This site redesign brought the ICM Canada organization a completely new and visually rich website. Each page features stylized photos that look like a travel scrapbook of people and places. The site includes layer upon layer of visual interest, easy to use navigation and a payment system designed with their specific shipping needs in mind.

JOHNSTON/FERTILE VALLEY
David Johnston and Dennis Johnston are clients who have come back to us now that their business is moving in a new direction. The Johnstons are looking to the future, to new technologies and new methods of ranching and needed a logo which reflected that forward motion. We worked closely with them to recreate their identity and will be designing their website to match their new look.

LEAH MANNING PHOTOGRAPHY
Leah is a professional photographer based in Florida, USA. We created a site that shows off her incredible work through a slide show that is easy to navigate. We also set up a database so she could upload new photos at any time and have them appear immediately on her site.

ARROWSTONE ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESEARCH AND CONSULTING
Working outside definitely must be one of the perks of being an archaeologist in British Columbia!  For Arrowstone's site we took advantage of the stunning photographs taken over the years to create a truly impressive looking site.

RANCHER'S CHOICE
This site uses Flash to create a unique look on each page and movement to catch the browser's eye.  We used almost every image we were given by the clients to enhance the clear navigation and bold look.  This site has been well used and gets lots of positive response from customers.
